Warranty Policy
During the warranty period, if there is a natural breakdown or damage that occurs despite normal use in accordance with the instruction manual, we will repair, replace parts, or replace the product free of charge. To contact us, please select "Warranty/Initial Defects" on the contact page and contact us.
* To receive warranty coverage, please keep your warranty card or record your order number.
* The warranty period is calculated from the date you first receive the product, so please check the condition of the product immediately after receiving it.
* If you wish to exchange the product for free, you will need the cardboard box that it was delivered in, so please do not discard the box or packaging materials until you have checked the product's original condition. If you wish to return or refund the product, in addition to these conditions, you will also need to cancel your security registration.
*Warranty claims must be submitted within two months of the problem occurring.
14-day limited warranty
If you find any defects such as damage, serious scratches, or system errors on the product, please contact us via the repair reservation form within 14 days of delivery. We will contact you as soon as we have confirmed the details of your inquiry.
If within 14 days of receiving your Sptebik, your Sptebik shows a manufacturing defect (that significantly affects the performance of your bicycle), we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective parts or, if repair is not possible, return or replace your Sptebik at an earlier date. As stated above, we will determine whether damage, defects, breakdowns or other losses are due to a "manufacturing defect". Furthermore, the cost of repair or replacement for such defects will be borne by Sptebik.
1-year limited battery warranty
The battery is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
Once we have confirmed the details of your inquiry, we will contact you promptly and respond to you.
*As we have no way of knowing how the battery is being used, we cannot guarantee the battery life or reduction in charging capacity.
1 year limited parts warranty
We will inspect your bike and if it is found to be covered under warranty we will replace or repair the parts free of charge within the warranty period from the delivery date.
Please note that this warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.
The warranty is limited to the following parts:
Basic parts : Front fork, seat post, handlebar, brake lever, disc brake, chain ring crank, chain ring, shift lever, derailleur (1 year)
Electrical parts : charger, motor, controller, meter panel, booster, USB charger, accelerator handle, switch (1 year)
5-year bicycle frame warranty
The manufacturer's warranty covers frame components against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date you receive your Sptebik.
Warranty Description
*The above parts are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1-5 years from the date of receipt of your Sptebik. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear. If parts require replacement due to normal wear and tear, the cost will be borne by the customer.
- To help us identify the damage, we may ask you to take a photo of the damage and send it to us by email with the photo attached.
- Even if the product is within the warranty period, repair costs will be incurred in the following cases:
- When using outside Japan
- When replacing non-defective parts at the customer's request
- If the product you purchased is a second-hand item that has been transferred after use (whether for a fee or free of charge)
- If the product has been intentionally altered, modified or altered
- If a malfunction or damage occurs due to repair or modification not performed by our company
- Any other case in which the Company determines that the application of the warranty is inappropriate.
*Accessories and optional parts are not included in the scope of this warranty.
